JOB OUTLINE
The Sales Administrator researches and identifies potential new clients, markets and ways to serve existing clients better. They are responsible for contacting prospects, generating new leads, following up with existing leads and organising meetings to present Brimstone’s services and solutions. The role entails the commercial aspect of the sales process. The role is based from Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria. Due to the company moving to a new site, the position will be based working from home initially before moving to a hybrid working model (3 days per week on site).
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Advertising the business on multiple platforms (email, social media, etc)
- Contacting new prospects and generating new leads
- Maintaining contact with existing leads
- Arranging meetings with potential customers to present Brimstone’s services and generate new business
- Improve methods to create sales potential from existing & new customers
- Oversee sales, from enquiry, through quotation and order processing to invoicing
- Maintain regular contact with existing and potential customers, primarily by telephone and email
- Maintain customer files with up-to-date information
- Support planning for advertising and exhibitions
- Regularly report progress, sales forecasts and business opportunities to management
- Achieve progressive increase in turnover (without loss of margin) and increase active customer base
- Meet quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain up to date customer contact info and mailing list
- Assist in creation of new marketing material and content
- Monthly report on forward order bookings and report on billings
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Willing to work to and uphold Brimstone’s INSPIRE values
- Minimum 2 A-Levels – A to C or equivalent
- Sales experience for engineering or technical companies – Desirable
- Experience in sales in energy sectors such as oil & gas, nuclear or renewable is desirable
- Experience in selling engineering or design services is highly desirable
- Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle – Essential
- Eligible to work in the UK – Essential
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
- Driven, self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed
- Comfortable in a target driven environment
- Organised with excellent time management skills
